Terephthalate
DOTP (dioctyl terephthalate, C₂₄H₃₈O₄) — a general-purpose, non-toxic alternative to the most widely-used PVC plasticiser. Turnkey engineering of retrofits for existing modules based on DOP and terephthalic acid. Applications: plasticising polymers and PVC compounds, finishing materials and cable plasticates. Versus DOP: improved cold resistance, lower viscosity and volatility, higher wear-resistance and durability of the end products.
